Returns & Exchanges

Exchange for another size/garment (Exchange Policy)

If you feel that you’ve chosen the wrong size/colour/style garment, we do accept exchanges within 14 days of the receipt of the goods.

For hygiene reasons – we do not accept change of mind or exchanges on underwear items such as socks and tights or PPE items such as facemasks unless they are faulty as per Australian Consumer Law guidelines.

All we will need you to do is:

  • Contact the office by phone or email and explain the problem
  • Send the garment back to the below address with a note that has your contact details, a brief explanation of the problem and who you spoke to.
  • Include a self-addressed pre-paid Australia Post satchel that is a suitable size to fit your new garment.

Please keep in mind that some garments will need to be made to order and you may be subject to a 3-4 week wait for the new garment.
To be able to exchange, all garments must comply with the following;

  • Have all tags and labels attached and be returned in its original packaging.
  • Must be unwashed and unworn.
  • Must include a note with your contact details, and a brief explanation of the reason for your return.
  • Include a self-addressed pre-paid Australia Post satchel that is a suitable size to fit your new garment.

Order Cancellation or Change of Mind (Refund Policy)

If you feel that you’ve chosen the wrong size/colour/style garment, we do accept returns within 14 days of the receipt of the goods. We do not grant refunds for change of mind but you may be eligible for a store credit.

All we will need you to do is:

  • Contact the office by phone or email and explain the problem
  • Send the garment back (if you have received it) to the below address with a note that has your contact details, a brief explanation of the problem and who you spoke to.

To be able to return, all garments must comply with the following;

  • Have all tags and labels attached and be returned in its original packaging.
  • Must be unwashed and unworn.
  • Must include a note with your contact details, and a brief explanation of the reason for your return.

You will be offered a store credit/online voucher for the same value as your original purchase.

In the event that you have purchased your garment but it has not yet been delivered, you may cancel your order by following the steps above and have any money paid refunded to you in the same manner that you paid. Please note all order cancellations due to change of mind incur a $10 cancellation fee to cover administration/restocking and change of production expenses.

Manufacturing Faults

If you feel that there is a manufacturing fault or a makeup fault with any garment purchased, we do accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of the receipt of the goods.

All we will need you to do is:

  • Contact the office by phone or email and explain the problem
  • Send the garment back to the below address with a note that has your contact details, a brief explanation of the problem and who you spoke to.

Interknit reserves the right to assess the issue, give you a call back with our findings and resolve the problem with you as soon as possible. Our findings may result with either repair of the garment, replacement of the garment or give a full refund.
To be able to return or exchange, all garments must comply with the following;

  • Must include a note with your contact details, and a brief explanation of the reason for your return.

When determined to be a manufactures fault we will refund the freight charges incurred. If the claim is unsuccessful and not deemed a manufacturers fault, freight costs will not be reimbursed, and freight will be charged to the customer for us to return the garment.

Warranty

We offer a 12 month limited warranty on all garments we have manufactured. If you have purchased an item from us that we have resold but is not manufactured here and it was within the last 12 months, we are always happy to help you contact the relevant manufacturer and find a solution.

While pulls in knitwear and holes caused by pulls running are not covered by our warranty, if we made the garment we are happy to help you get more use from your garment by supplying the correct coloured yarn for darning or a repair hook. Please contact our office if you need to access this service.
