Rotary Club of Ballarat East

Thank you for your generous donation to assist with our Trivia Night for the Homeless. I am thrilled to report that the Trivia Night was a great success and we have raised more than $10,000. These funds will be distributed to Uniting Care and other agencies in Ballarat, to enable the purchase and provision of blankets and other necessities to make lives of many members of our community a little easier and more comfortable through Ballarat’s long winter. We would not have been able to achieve such a fantastic result without the support of local businesses such as yours and we greatly appreciate your willingness to help us in our efforts to make a difference in our community.

Thank you again.

With kind regards,

Emma Glisson – President – Rotary Club of Ballarat East

Interknit became a proud financial sponsor of the Central Wendouree Bowling Club. We’ve provided the uniform polo shirts for the Wendouree Bears Team for a few years now and this was a natural progression to supporting a community that supports us. Below is our sign at the bowls club.

Dear Interknit people and staff,

On behalf of the Rotary Club of Ballarat East, I would like to thank you for your kind donation of clothing to support our Trivia Night next Saturday.

It is through companies like yours that we can continue to help the community, in this case the homeless.

We have had donations from about 50 firms in Ballarat to support this function.  The articles donated will be distributed through Uniting Care who are the lead agency for homeless in Ballarat.  The clothing donated by you will make the plight of the homeless a little easier.

Interknit will be listed on the program and mentioned by the MC as well on the night. Thank you once again.

Kind regards,

Gavin Drew
Rotary Club of Ballarat East.

Carmel from House of Welcome organised a Soup and Sandwich Luncheon for Refugee Week. We donated a pure wool lace loop scarf to help her raise money for this event and worked out a super price for her to have these aprons embroidered for the event.

We had the absolute pleasure of attending Bogan Bingo at St Aloysius Primary School in Ballarat. Our donation to the night was the crown for ‘King’ and ‘Queen’ Bogan – embroidered beanies to keep in the theme.
