100% Australian Merino Wool casual pullover jumper, part of the Branberry range.

Aran knit jumpers originated in the Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland. These islands are known for their rugged landscapes and harsh weather conditions. The need for warm, durable clothing inspired the creation of the Aran jumper style.

Knitted in a medium to heavy weight stitch, this pullover has extra length for longer torsos and a  gathered hem to keep the breeze out. The neckband has been hand-linked for an extra flat finish.

This jumper is medium to heavy weight and suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Originally, Aran sweaters were primarily worn by fishermen. They provided warmth, and the natural lanolin in the wool made them water-resistant. Today we make sure all traces of allergins (such as lanolin) are removed from the yarn before we dye it beautiful colours and machine knit the jumpers you love.

All measurements are +/- 2cm due to the stretch in the knit. For best results, measure a jumper that fits you well while it is lying on a flat surface then match the results to the closest size in our chart. This particular jumper has such an amazing stretch (and return when washed) that Kassie wore it when she heavily pregnant with Kenzie.
